"COMMENTS" TEAM

ANDREW PILKINGTON
I have lived in Richmond
for 5 years, and throughout that time I have been closely involved with
the local Liberal Democrat team. I also have a keen interest in writing
and am currently working on my first novel, in addition to being a
regular columnist for the Madrid based travel magazine ‘ Secrets’ I
work closely with local community groups advising them on advertising
and press strategies, and was recently nominated to become a trustee of
the Cambrian Centre. Aside from politics and writing I also have an
interest in real ale, rollerblading, and snooker.

SAIFUL ISLAM
I have lived in Richmond for
more then four years and have actively campaigned for the Liberal
Democrats during the past General Election. I am professionally an
engineer and worked abroad as a general manager in a number of
countries. My strengths are in project management, communication and
working with people. I believe that Richmond can become the best
borough in the UK through improved planning, transport and security
(without having to be the most expensive one) and I would like to work
towards it as a future councillor. |
